- Petlys does not sell personal information.

Gameplay progress
Petlys saves gameplay progress on the device so a player can continue where they left off. This includes completed and active pictures, colored tiles, discoveries, collected pets, homes and decorations, pet levels, and home arrangements.
When the device is signed in to iCloud, Petlys can also save this gameplay progress in the player’s private iCloud database. That private copy is used only for app functionality, including keeping progress consistent on devices using the same iCloud account. It is not public and is not used for advertising or marketing.
Content downloads
Petlys may download approved pictures and Collection pieces from a developer-controlled HTTPS content host. These requests do not include gameplay progress, child-provided information, advertising identifiers, a Petlys account, or a Petlys-generated device identifier. The downloads are used only to deliver game content—not for advertising, tracking, analytics, or profiling.
Like any secure web request, the hosting provider may process standard connection information such as an IP address, user agent, requested asset path, and timestamp to deliver, secure, and operate the service. Petlys does not combine that connection information with gameplay state or use it for advertising, analytics, marketing, tracking, or profiling.
Purchases
Optional purchases are handled by Apple through StoreKit. Petlys receives the entitlement information needed to unlock or restore purchased content. Petlys does not receive or store a payment-card number. Apple handles purchase information under Apple’s own privacy policy.
Parent and device controls
Adult-only actions are kept in the Parent Area. Petlys may ask iOS to verify the device owner before opening that area. Face ID, Touch ID, and device passcode information stay with iOS; Petlys receives only whether the check succeeded. Petlys does not receive biometric data.
Diagnostics and service providers
Petlys does not include an advertising network or a third-party analytics SDK. Apple may process App Store purchases, private iCloud gameplay storage, and crash or diagnostic information according to the device owner’s Apple settings and Apple’s policies. Heroku hosts this public website, and OpenAI Sites delivers approved static game packages; those providers may process ordinary connection information solely to operate and secure their hosting services. Petlys does not send gameplay or child-provided information to any advertising, analytics, or data-broker service.
Choices and deletion
An adult can use Reset Progress in the Parent Area to clear the playable game state and update the synced state. Deleting the app clears its local data, but an iCloud copy may remain available to the same iCloud account. iCloud data can also be managed through the device owner’s Apple account and iCloud settings.
